With Frankfurt Rights, you can share content samples with your contacts to easily give them a peek into your titles. Important: Sharing will work for anybody, not just registered Frankfurt Rights users.
There are several ways to upload content samples. Once they have been uploaded, you can share them with anybody by creating a link through one of the following methods:
- On the title page, click on "Share Content Sample" in the red box on the top right of the page and follow the instructions in the pop-up window. You can either start typing the name for any user who has an account on Frankfurt Rights, or enter the email address of your contact to send the recipient a link to the sample. Alternatively, you can copy the link by clicking on the icon next to "Share via shareable link" and share it in an email, for example.
- You can also visit the “Content Samples” tab from your dashboard. In the section "Upload and Manage Content Samples and Manuscrips" there is an overview of all documents uploaded to the platform (content samples, manuscripts, supporting information). By clicking the grey icon next to the title of a book, you can open the pop-up window for sharing again.
In the section "Content Samples" is also the subsection "Manage Content Sample Requests": here you can manage all the incoming requests for content samples and either decline the requests, grant a single request only, or grant all requests for content samples by this user.
TIP: The general setting of who can see your content samples can be changed in the section "Account" > "Privacy Settings". In the custom settings, you can choose to show content sample uploads to
- Public
- Frankfurt Rights members
- Only members of your company portal.
